Vendel make excellent large hound-type dogs (12 different poses) – you could hack them up.

Cool, good start…

The Reaper undead dog handler is very large, too large next ot 28mms, so I guess the dog on leash would have to be mutated or something like that ;)

How about these?

These are the Wizkids Horrorclix Frothweilers. I removed the boney spines from their backs, rebased them on standard 25mm bases and repainted them.

They appear to be big dogs, but not wholly unrealistically sized dogs. I snagged these off eBay and some online retailers pretty cheap about a year ago. Not sure what prospects are like lately.

Now if you're looking for some smaller dogs, you might want to look at the Zombies boardgame expansion that has a bag of glow in the dark zombie dogs. These are 20mm scale, but should be close to the size of the dog in the Reaper Zombie Handler photo above.

Not as big as the Frothweilders but AE-WWII has the Hellhounds which are more of demonic dog in a rotting carcass.

Black Cat sells the dogs (and the other figures) from the Gangs Stars line.
They do allow you to buy the dogs without buying the corresponding gang minis.

That search (for 'dog') bings up most of them.

The bag o' zombie dogs are pretty easy to cut apart and reglue into different positions (soft plastic). Since they are zeds, you don't have to worry about aligning things back up right or filling in seams and such. For the price point, they're worth a shot.

I have used the xombie board games ones.
Some info on how and painting them here on my blog;

Ral Partha Europe do some nice dogs (Rottweilers and Alsatians) in their Heroes & Horror range, 01-028 War Dogs & Master pack £7.95 GBP:

And a Wolf Pack, featuring seven different wolves, at £9.95 GBP:

If you're in the US, I believe Iron Wind Metals carries them.
For size comparison of the Alsatian type:

Painted up as a less cowardly Scooby Doo…

I picked some up from Mississinewa Miniatures some time ago, but they appear to have closed up shop. Shame. You might try emailing the owner. PM me for the contact info. It may be outdated.
